Note: Booth space comes with 8’ back drape, 3’ side drapes, table and one chair. Additional booth accessories may be ordered separately through our official supplier. Special exhibitor requirements such as electricity, web access, and A/V needs will be supplied for an additional charge through the venue.
PAYMENT TERMS: 50% deposit upon application, remaining 50% due by Jan. 15, 2008. Failure to meet the deadline will forfeit your right to exhibit at Baby Fest 2008.

BABY FEST 2008 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The exhibitor aggress to abide by all of the rules and regulations adopted by
Baby Fest, and agrees that “Management” shall have final decision in
adopting any rule or regulation deemed necessary prior to, during, and
after the show. “Management” is Marsha J. Bidwell of Bakersfield Ca .
“Exhibitor” refers to the company or individual named on the contract.
Exhibit all is the space occupied by Baby Fest 2008.
Exhibit Space: Required deposit must accompany application in order
to process. All applications will be processed on a first come, first serve
basis. Baby Fest 2008 management reserves the right to relocate space
of Exhibitors that may be affected by a change in floor plan.
Baby Fest 2008 will not be liable if competitive exhibitors are
adjacent, however, where possible exhibitors will be located
appropriately.
Cancellation Policy: All requests for cancellation must be in
writing. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, in the
event of a cancellation by the exhibitor. If notice of cancellation
is submitted within 60 days or less prior to this event, the exhibitor
is liable for the full payment of their space rental under the contract.
Subletting: The exhibitor shall not sublet or appropriate
Exhibit Structure: All displays must remain within the booth dimension.
Exhibitors many not attach display to any walls and/ or structural supports
of the Exhibit Hall. No component of any display facing neighboring
booths shall be left unfinished.
Insurance: Show Management shall not, under any circumstances
whatsoever, be liable or responsible for (a.) any loss, damage, theft,
or destruction whatsoever or however caused to any goods, equipment,
or any other property belonging to the Exhibitor or for which the
Exhibitor is responsible; (b.) any damage or injury by the Exhibitor,
Exhibitor’s employee(s), agents, contractors or by any other persons
(c.) any loss, damage, injury, or cost whatsoever by the Exhibitor by a
ny change in date, time, or place of the show or abandonment thereof.
The Exhibitor shall obtain and maintain at its own expense during the
period commencing on the move-in date terminating on the move-out date,
a policy of insurance acceptable to “Management.”
Indemnity: The Exhibitor accepts all risk associated with the use of the
exhibit space environs. The Exhibitor shall not make any claims or damage
or take legal action, whatsoever, against “Management” the show sponsors
or the facility in which the show is held, for loss, damage or injury howsoever
caused, to the exhibitor, its officers, employees, agents or other property.
Also, the exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless “Management”,
show sponsors and their respective officers, agents and employees, against
all claims, coast and charges of every kind resulting from occupancy of the
exhibit space or its environs, for personal injuries, death, property damages
or any other damage sustained by the exhibitor or its officers, agents,
employees or those for whom in the law they are responsible, or a visitor at the show.
Set-Up: All booths must be set up within specified times and no major
alterations may be made during show times. In the event that a booth
is closed or unattended at any time during show hours Baby Fest reserves
the right to open or remove any night coverings ext. but shall be under no
liability to the exhibitor for any loss or damage which may be caused as a
result of the booth being “opened”.
Knockdown: For safety reasons, no display shall be dismantled or removed
before the scheduled more out time. Exhibitors not complying with this
term will be charged a penalty.
Conduct: Baby Fest reserves the right to approval for all displays and
promotional literature. All Exhibitor draws and promotional give-a-ways
must be approved by “Management” prior to the show. Orders for products
may be taken merchandise may be sold at the show. No smoking or
alcohol will be allowed in the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors not complying with
this term will be charged a penalty. Distribution of food samples may be
conducted with pr
ior written approval from Show Management and in accordance with the
FDA food sampling policies and health regulations.
Liability and Cancellation or Curtailment of the Show: Adequate and
reasonable security will be provided at all times by “Management” at the show.
However, in the event that the facility in which the show is to be held or is
held is destroyed or becomes unavailable for occupancy, for reasons beyond
the control of “Management” and sponsors, or if for any reason “Management”
is unable to permit the exhibitors to occupy the facility or the space. Or if the
show is cancelled or curtailed, “Management” and sponsors will not be
responsible for any loss of business, loss of profits, damage or expense of
whatever nature that the exhibitor may suffer. The reasons listed include,
but are not limited to, such reasons as : casualty, explosion, fire, lighting, e
arthquakes or other acts of God acts of public enemies, lockout or boycott.
Badges & Passes: Exhibitor badges will be issued to persons named on the
Exhibitor Badge Form. Exhibitor badges are non-transferable and are
restricted to persons staffing the Exhibitor’s booth.
NSF Checks: In the event that the exhibitors check is returned by the
bank due to insufficient funds, a $25.00 administration fee will be charged
to the exhibitor.
Small Print: With the best interests of the show in mind all circumstances
not covered by this contract will be subject to the decision of
“Management”. “Management” will have full discretion in the interpretation
of all terms, conditions and rules herein and will make and amendments there to
governing the show. Any agreement between an Exhibitor and their supplier is the
sole responsibility of the Exhibitor.
